Quality track! Belting production and song writing as usual. Absolutely one of the best in the Cafe. Awesome work

I very much enjoyed that, the whole thing sounds great but I really loved the guitar around the 3 minute mark, really cool sounds there.
My gf said it reminded her of The Blue Nile, I'm not familiar so I just hope that's taken as a compliment.

Cheers. And meant to mention to you on your recent track - if you ever need any poorly played indie rokk geetar, then give me a shout!jethrobull wrote: Sat Aug 07, 2021 8:17 am Quality track! Belting production and song writing as usual. Absolutely one of the best in the Cafe. Awesome work![]()

Oh yes, and tell Mrs G she has excellent taste! Long time fan of The Blue Nile, bought their first album in the 80s...synthgeek wrote: Sat Aug 07, 2021 7:47 pm

Great band who were hugely influential but not very popular commerically- never seemed to get their act together and did albums years apart, and never followed any musical trends.

Good, I'm glad that was well-received. She does have great taste, and has introduced me to some great stuff I missed. Looks like this may be another of those.donkey tugger wrote: Sat Aug 07, 2021 10:30 pm Oh yes, and tell Mrs G she has excellent taste! Wow, thanks for the info drop there, codec_spurt. I love reading stuff like that.codec_spurt wrote: Sun Aug 08, 2021 1:15 am Blue Nile got massive when Chris from Melody Maker promoted them. They went through the roof. They had the imprimatur from Peter Gabriel as well. Didn't hurt...
