Or did you mean "as is" for the example scripts?

I indeed meant "as is" for example scripts. I guess you can sample the sine wave synths if you like, there is nothing really special about them.

Thank you much. I will make those sine wave synths into something special, you just wait and see, you'll see, those synths will sound pretty good. Or everybody will hate them, and I will have failed entirely.

Sorry, Blue Cat, I have one more thing to ask. When you say I can use those sine wave synths to sample the audio, do you mean all types of waves that are useable within it (that aren't sampled, if there are any),like saw, triangle, etc.? Do you also mean that all of the different Synth plug-in examples that are not sample based can have their audio sampled for the creation of samples, sample packs, Virtual Instruments, etc.?

The factory example synths that come with Plug'n Script produce only sine waves as far as I recall. There are no saw, triangle, square wave or other types of oscillators in them. You would have to write your own oscillators for that. Of course, that would be very easy to do if you have basic programming skills.

There are actually also some FM synthesis waveform generators too. I am not a legal expert, but I don't think there is enough original stuff in there to cause any trouble if sampled.Minisonic wrote: Wed Aug 11, 2021 5:58 am The factory example synths that come with Plug'n Script produce only sine waves as far as I recall. Yes, but that produces a static waveform. It isn’t playable through MIDI, you have to set the frequency numerically and there is no envelope so multi-sampling it would be pretty tedious I would think.
But, if you’re happy to do that I don’t think anyone will stop you. It’s just a 2-op sine wave fm generator, the simplest fm possible, so there’s no way anyone could tell where you got it from.

Okay, thanks for that, I appreciate it. Can't wait to get started on it.
