Invisible limiter in my song??

Hello, I am fairly new to producing music, and as I was using Tracktion Waveform Free (latest version) with seemingly no issues, suddenly after I added a track (it was a track for automating a low pass filter) it appeared that a brickwall limiter was applied on my whole mix. This only happened after I added the track, and I did not add any compression or limiting to the master plugins. Is this a result of cpu usage or can I revert this, any help is appreciated.
Thanks.
Edit: streamable link to show issue. Note that no limiters or compressors are on the master plugins rack and the issue spontaneously happened.
Edit 2: Problem is resolved, issue was in the stock low/high pass filter. Removing it solved the issue, I'll probably use a different one now.
Edit 3: changing the order of the plugins also seems to work. In that case, stock is fine.
Thanks.

https://www.meldaproduction.com/MEquali ... omatically.
"MEqualizer provides a safety brickwall limiter, which ensures the output stays below 0dB and prevents your equipment and your ears from potential danger automatically."

Surely there must be consensus by now...

Alright, I'm probably missing something as the brickwall limiter on the equalizer is a setting that I have to toggle on (or at least, that's what it implies, I tested it out and it's independent to my issue) so I'm guessing it's either a different plugin or it's a software thing. I'll try to look through the settings of each program.

Okay, I have found the issue and it was in the low pass filter. disabling it stopped the brickwall limiter. I don't know why this is a thing, but thank you @pough for giving me the clues to find out it was one of my plugins. I'll probably just use a different pass filter that isn't the stock one. Thank you for your help.
