I am using 6.33 (latest version). Trust me, the stuck notes issue with Repro-5 is not fixed in this version.tasmaniandevil wrote: Fri Aug 06, 2021 9:14 amIt fixes the Diva arpeggiator stuck notes issue.
The most common source for stuck notes in Reaper was a problem of the host, and has been fixed in one of the last Reaper versions.
If you are still getting stuck notes with the current Reaper version, we'd need more details. In this case please contact our support.

Then please let us know more about this, so we can investigate.Biome_Digital wrote: Fri Aug 06, 2021 9:34 am I am using 6.33 (latest version). Trust me, the stuck notes issue with Repro-5 is not fixed in this version.

Include conditions like operating system, sample rate and buffer size, what presets were used, how to reproduce it, ideally with an example project demonstrating the problem.
Once we can reproduce it, we might be able to determine if it's a bug in the plugin, in the host, or in the used hardware.

Is there a reason BazilleCM and TripleCheese only have the one favourites folder instead of the 8 that the others have?
Thanks again for the updates, everything is working perfectly here

Yes, technical reasons. In the code of the browser, tags and favourites are linked.Shifrin wrote: Sat Aug 07, 2021 9:48 am Is there a reason BazilleCM and TripleCheese only have the one favourites folder instead of the 8 that the others have?
If the plugins had tags, they would also have 8 favourites.

Thanks again!

Both RC1 and RC2 of Hive on Windows crashes when there is a wavetable folder circular symlink situation. Suppose there is a symlink in Hive.data\Wavetables to \Library, and \Library has a symlink to Hive.data\Wavetables. Hive crashes before presenting a GUI.
I wouldn't have normally reported this but the odd thing is, the previous versions of Hive handled it somehow.

Oh, trying to link the whole library location to Hive's wavetable folder is a really bad idea, this would crash even without the symlink feedback loop, as Hive would have to scan all the stuff in the library, including system folders to which it cannot gain access due to missing permissions.yellowmix wrote: Mon Aug 09, 2021 4:07 am Both RC1 and RC2 of Hive on Windows crashes when there is a wavetable folder circular symlink situation. But in principle, you're right, creating a symlink feedback loop in the wavetable location will crash Hive. Yet, both those crashes already happen with Hive 2.0.1 (rev. 9709) and Hive 2.1 (rev. 11037).
I'll create a ticket, maybe we can prevent it from crashing in a future update.

Just to clarify, \Library is a made-up wavetables location, not what is a system location(?) on Mac systems (I'm a Windows user). My wavetable library is sizeable and Hive handles it, it just creates a very long list of folders, and if it can't find a wavetable, can take some time to find it. But find it it does! It's a very fine piece of engineering.tasmaniandevil wrote: Mon Aug 09, 2021 6:57 amOh, trying to link the whole library location to Hive's wavetable folder is a really bad idea, this would crash even without the symlink feedback loop, as Hive would have to scan all the stuff in the library, including system folders to which it cannot gain access due to missing permissions.yellowmix wrote: Mon Aug 09, 2021 4:07 am Both RC1 and RC2 of Hive on Windows crashes when there is a wavetable folder circular symlink situation. Haha, ok. On Mac, "Library" is a system location, indeed. There are actually multiple Library locations on Mac. Thus I assumed you were talking about that library.yellowmix wrote: Tue Aug 10, 2021 5:05 am Just to clarify, \Library is a made-up wavetables location, not what is a system location(?) on Mac systems (I'm a Windows user).
Funnily, I now tried the symlink feedback loop on Windows, and it's not crashing over here.
But a feedback loop of symlinks should be avoided, nonetheless, as it can always create unforeseen issues.
