You are most welcome. I'm glad it is working for you. I used one so much, I got a second one.

With your Apollo, you can put a Lexicon 224 or 480L on the aux send so that it’s always available live/real-time/no latency for all your synths. The 224 has a preset called Atmosphere that is amazing on synths.cryophonik wrote: ↑Wed Aug 04, 2021 9:49 pm It's funny you mention that, because lately I've been craving Valhalla Shimmer for the LP. I already own most Valhalla reverbs and Delay, but Shimmer never really jumped out at me until a few days ago when I watched Sean's video overview where he's playing a Moog through it... got me kinda drooling TBH.
I'd also use it for the Prophet Rev2. The onboard reverb is certainly the weakest part of that synth.
Are you a longtime UAD user? UA resets your demo times every time you buy a plug-in, making it pretty easy to get by on demos for a long time. Use 224 for 2 weeks, use 480L for 2 weeks, buy a plug-in, use 224 for 2 weeks, use 480L for 2 weeks, etc. Also, all their reverbs are on sale right now.

Been trying to score one of these since they came out. As with a number of other modules that have eluded me, I always seemed to just miss a batch. No more.
There were a couple of outlets in Europe that had them in stock, and having heard nothing but good things about them, I ordered from Schneidersladen - Modular Synths in Germany, on Aug-02, and it arrived in Seattle today!

I finally saved up enough for an OB-6 and purchased one last week. Love it so far.

My Kawai ES110 arrived a couple days ago and I really like it. I am not a piano player, yet. However I think my key/piano needs are met with this and the Hydrasynth keyboard.

Love the Hydrasynth so far, but it's completely not what I was expecting. Not immediately warm at all, but thin and digital, until you start playing around with it. See the notes Jexus gives on his website for a better review on its sounds. The novation peak almost sounds immediately warm and analog compared to the Hydrasynth, but I'm sure similar warmth can be made with the Hydrasynth eventually. Might still go for the MatrixBrute or Pro-3 or Subsequent 37 for immediate analog gratification.

one thing that helps is in the VOICE menu, a couple of parameters related to WarmMode and AnalogFL, but mostly I just add a tiny bit of saturation like FabFilter Saturn in the DAWegbert101 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 12, 2021 11:01 am Love the Hydrasynth so far, but it's completely not what I was expecting. My GAS is starting to kick in even though I just got a new audio interface I’m lusting after a deep hardware reverb like a Strymon Big Sky or the Meris Mercury 7. Anyone aware of a quality modern reverb unit that fits a full size rack and doesn’t cost silly money? I did look at old quadraverbs but Heinbach has queered the pitch by bigging them up so people are now asking £200+ for them.

Had a Quad for nearly 20 years, and just loved it. Never disappointed with what could be coaxed out of it. 200+ is a bargain compared to the prices stuff from strymon (and others) are going for (imho).WatchTheGuitar wrote: ↑Thu Aug 12, 2021 11:35 am Anyone aware of a quality modern reverb unit that fits a full size rack and doesn’t cost silly money? I'd get the Night Sky instead of the Big Sky.WatchTheGuitar wrote: ↑Thu Aug 12, 2021 11:35 am My GAS is starting to kick in even though I just got a new audio interface I’m lusting after a deep hardware reverb like a Strymon Big Sky or the Meris Mercury 7. Lexicon PCM60 is the bargain rack reverb. Costs $3-400 and sounds like a 224. PCM70's are even better but tend to be overpriced and prone to failure (because people use the hell out of them!).
Yamaha SPX2000 is very good for around $500. You can get modern sounding reverbs as well as vintage SPX90 reverbs and effects. I prefer the PCM60 over it but a lot of people like that Yamaha sound. Of course, you can get an old SPX90/900/1000 for under $100, too. The weird one of the lot is the SPX990, it has a completely different sound from the rest. You can get an SPX990 for $1-200 and it's a close second favorite of the Yamaha's for me, right behind the SPX2000.
Eventide Blackhole, Space, and H9 pedals are also great.

I always liked my old TC M-One XL. It has few pretty great patches (I love the 'Warm Plates' patch) and it's pretty flexible. I used to modulate it a lot from my Octatrack, the parameters seemed to respond better to external modulation, than other signal processors I tried.

Nice, quite a few to consider there, cheers for that. Still a shame that there’s not seemingly a modern rack equivalent other than a few multi fx.justin3am wrote: ↑Thu Aug 12, 2021 4:45 pm I always liked my old TC M-One XL. Well, I mean there are some really decent modern rack effects, but what kind of price are you willing to pay? I think companies like Lexicon and Eventide have no interest in trying to compete with Behringer for that end of the market, so all you have in the <$200 price range is the Virtualizer. Maybe Behr will start doing more rack effects with their TC electronics IP.
But then you have to consider that rack effects aren't as popular as they once were. Lots of neat desktop units though. Oto Bim and Bam sounds really good.
