Korg Collection 3

I am a little Korgy. I have had a Korg M3 too. Eventually sold it, but kept my Korg Karma. Have made good use of Prophecy too, which is sold now, but replaced by the software version. I find the Odyssey emu okay, likewise the new minikorg, but I must admit that the Polysix, MS20 and Monopoly have something canned about them that go to my nerves. Especially in unison mode or just by using more voices per sound. I do not know how to put it exactly, but when things get canned and supersaw'ish with multiple phasings like that, it is like a dagger in my spine. besides, the seemed too sharp in the highs and too dull in the lows. I instantly bought the Legacy Collection back then and used them a couple of times, but soon found out that it was their M1 and Wavestation that ruled the game for me. For emu's I surely look elsewhere. Hi Uhe, TAL...and a bit of Arturia, but only a bit

any experience how fast KORG is in bugfixing?
I´m looking forward to the Triton PCM-Exp-Combis or were they broken before Korg Collection 3? hopefully not

That is, when it affects their sales.
Otherwise, they may not even acknowledge your reports.
I'm still waiting for replies of certain issues weeks out.
On another note, in wondering if we'll ever get a resize update on Legacy-Cell? Or does it have it and I just never found it?
(Just reinstalled it, and am enjoying more than I did before.)

MS2000 and/or Radias in next version?

I doubt we'll see a MS2000 in plugin format anytime soon... at least as long as the microKorg is still in production.
I think a MS2000 plugin would likely cut deep into the microKorg sales; it would be more practical for a lot of people (at least for studio work)... and imagine if the plugin version had more polyphony than the hardware, it would be a real no-brainer replacement in a lot of situations.
It would be nice, though!

Radias almost seems a no brainer since it was software from the start. But some argue that completes against the current AL right now. Since AL and Mod 7 are software based, I would find them both enticing. But we really can't call either of them "Legacy" just yet.

the things that I really need are the again working Combis of the Expansion-Cards in Triton - without them it´s like having a car but only allowed to use gear 1+2
the POLY global setting would be nice, but not needed so soon as the above mentioned issue
and the Korg-Pass would also be nice to show the really situation instead of "not installed" although everything is installed

I am not sure what they mean exactly (link below) by "Special Bundle" but it's $99 to upgrade that way.Krakatau wrote: Fri Aug 13, 2021 1:57 pm Question folks : ...the upgrade from korg legacy to korg collection 3 is supposed to cost 200 $ right ?
...or was it for a limited time because right now it show 300 $ to pay during checkout, this after proceeding carefully ?
https://korg.shop/software/korg-collect ... re=english
It also says: This product requires a coupon code to ensure that your existing product is eligible to be upgraded.
EDIT:
I believe this is the bundle you'd need to upgrade from to get the $99 deal:

YEY
update for KORG-Pass arrived, but still says that miniKORG and Triton Extreme aren´t installed, also after reinstall
update for "normal" Triton arrived too, now the Combi of the EXB-Cards are correct routed f.e. Bank "B-B:000 Studio Strings" has now only Strings/Orch in the 8 slots and not Pianos as since KC3 came out
but still have a problem with EXB-Card "Future Loop Construction" :
I played all notes from C-1 to C9 but on no key is a loops, only drumsounds
tried it on several patches
