Melda doesn't play well with Reaper take FX automation

Hi there, Reaper has a feature called “take fx” which let you apply fx plugins to individual audio clips. They seem to run differently from regular fx - like they’re brought online when the clip starts, and brought offline when the clip ends. This results in some strange behavior, where the plugin processes audio before receiving parameter updates. I realize I’m not explaining this well, but I’m doing the best I can!
I’ve made a video demonstrating the behavior. You can hear that MFilter doesn't set the frequency until after the clip starts playing. So depending on where you stop playing the clip, the initial pop will be different. And it shouldn't be there anyway - it's only a problem with take FX.
Here’s the video:
And here’s the forum thread where I brought it up a few years ago and they said it’s an issue with plugins, rather than Reaper: https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=206702
Personally I think if it’s an issue with so many plugins (lots that I’ve tested, anyway), then it’s an issue with Reaper’s implementation. Maybe you’re able to have a more productive conversation with them than I am.

I cannot reproduce in 15.00o (public beta). Maybe it's fixed there?
Sorry for another thing, but @Vojtech: Look at 20 seconds in this video. I am not the only one having such graphic glitches with the band-icons, hehe! (-;

Yeah, I noticed the same bad EQ icons yesterday too.
Definitely recommend updating too.

The icons
damn... Either there's some error in my OpenGL implementation, which never occurs here on my computers
, or it is a GPU error... oh the technology...

@padillac and @vectorwarrior
What GPUs do you have? I have an AMD Radeon RX 580. Maybe the is a similarity.

The machine I noticed this on has an NVidia 970 so a few years old. I have a different machine with a 3070 that I could test it on (if I have time)

I'm not sure if the glitch is the same - I didn't actually see it in that posted video - but I have an RTX 2060 Super but I forget who manufactured it. Windows 10 (current) with a 9900k. I also have RAM but not a ton.

My 3070 does NOT have this issue.
