(I really, really hope this is it for a while. But we still have the AAX port for Big Sur and M1 ahead...)
Would you guys consider supporting the Avid Carbon platform with some of your plugins?
I don't even know what that is

Thing is, we're going to concentrate on open platforms from now on. Dependencies on other tech companies slow us down.

It’s avid’s answer to UAD DSP.

A very late and irrelevant answer

Well I don't know about irrelevant. 0.79ms latency while using zero CPU is still very much a useful feature when tracking. Trying running even something seemingly simple like a piano patch in Kontakt at 32 buffer and watch your brand new i7/i9 choke up pretty quick. But if you don't need low latency then it probably isn't for you. Also, it was UAD that copied Avid going into DSP world. Avid already had their HDX platform etc etc. Anyway, we'll see how things pan out. Maybe Apple silicon will be the thing to bring DSP type latency numbers to the masses finally. Should be an interesting year ahead.

I already have a version of Zebra CM... How do I update? Would I have to buy another magazine? Looking on the Computer Music website there is no advertisement...
I love coffee...

Please contact Computer Music magazine and ask them.
We sent them the new version a few days ago, so it might take a while until they can make it available. And we do not know exactly how they will do it.
That QA guy from planet u-he.

And I emailed Andy from computer music 4 days ago... No response yet. I usually find it very difficult to talk to them. But, I'm still hoping to get an answer... I'll post it here so you know.
It would be much nicer if U-he took care of this part of the CM plugins, they do an amazing customer service!

carrieres wrote: Tue Aug 10, 2021 8:53 pm I can only Mark as favourite 1 in triple cheese (there is no 2 to 8 like in others synths)
The 8-way favourites are part of the tag database, which we can only enable when we fully tag the factory library. Which would have taken too much time for now...

CM editor Andy's response about the Zebra CM update... "we just got the final release versions of these so will be going big with them in a couple of issue's time. I'm afraid it will involve buying the magazine but they do look like amazing updates so it's a small price to pay (yes, I would say that!)"

Yeah, but Zebra is so worth it! And the more you use it, the faster you get! :)
