I am about to be proven right :)

Well, there are still a ton of things they need to do that will benefit 'all' users (as in see the 'fixes' in the new beta!) so I hope they get the software totally stable before worrying too about making it Native- that's probably best for the M1 users as well, stability before speed!

Max 8.2 beta out- Max 8.2 will be the first version to natively support the latest Apple Silicon based Mac computers. I suspect this is what was needed before Live can do the same....

Is the Live license that comes with certain audio interfaces upgradeable to standard and suite versions, and if so, what's the price of those upgrades? Can't find any info about this on their website.

if you have registered live lite, i assume it is lite, i have also a live lite license, once registered of course, don't know way, if i choose it, you can't upgrade to intro, but to standard and suite.

with some discount (in euros about 70?), in sale for upgrades, this can of course be a tempting offer. because the sales can be up to 30%.

Thanks. It's a bit confusing because the lite version doesn't even seem to exist on their website, i assume it was replaced by intro at some point.

Where did you find the link? Lite is not listed in their shop or anywhere in their FAQ or knowledge base unless i've missed something. Perhaps a search would have brought something up but that would imply it's a replaced/archived product which wouldn't help me at all.

This is not for sale! It is a special edition comes with hardware like Cubase le/AI. The one you can buy is Intro, but you can't upgrade from lite to Intro (they treat lite the same as intro), so you can upgrade only to Standard and Suite.

You can't also upgrade Previous (intro) to a new intro like you can with Standard and Suite. These are their rules but not new ones! In Cubase for example, you can update Elements from previous version to latest version. So, every company has its policy! Not something new really. Anyway, if you have lite and want to buy intro, you can change the license you are buying to a "New License" :
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.
