I saw that in the middle of the night, here. Someone trying a DDOS?

I got something that flashed up logging on then went away before I could read it
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

Why have I suddenly started getting a cloudflare browser check page come up when I sign in to kVR? It say wait a moment or something while we check your browser, never had that happen before until yesterday and today.
Why the hell did I come back to this God forsaken forum?

From the link above:
I've gotten the Cloudflare "checking your browser" both times I logged in today. It is new.
So for the access denied thing, I guess you have to contact Ben.If you are visiting the site, contact the site owner and let them know that you received the Access denied error and ask them to check their Firewall Rules. Only the owner of the site you’re visiting can tell you why you are unable to access the site.

Yeah, worried me a bit when I've logged in today, before reading about Cloudflare. It's staying up for a bit on every device I've logged in from.

I gathered that. That's why I moved the thread to where Ben is more likely to see it. I know nothing about it except what I found via Google.
I have encountered it here and there other sites (the browser check, not the denial of access).

Cheers. I hadn't noticed you'd moved the thread. I was going to post here earlier but I couldn't find itD.H. Miltz wrote: Wed Aug 25, 2021 11:43 pm I gathered that. That's why I moved the thread to where Ben is more likely to see it. I know nothing about it except what I found via Google.

We were hit by a persistent distributed flood of brute force login attempts for a period on Tuesday evening so I've added an additional (automated) check on login and register pages. I also blocked a specific user agent string, an old and pretty much obsolete UA which should have been unlikely to be coming from legitimate users.
However, thecontrolcentre, you phone browser's user agent was caught by this (your phone is pretty niche these days
). I've tweaked the UA block to be more precise.
