Using this method on iPad, SM2 does not recognise these samples, I particularly want to import individual samples for each key so that they remain sounding authentic. Any advice would be appreciated. Of course a having a user manual for SM2 iOS would be a great help (if the developers are reading this)

I have been trying to import multi samples into SM2. The user manual v2.9 that first appeared with SM2 when it was first released and then disappeared after the last update explained that If you want to import multisamples, they should be named as <Waveform>.<Root Note>.<file extension> Or <Waveform>.<Root Note>.auto.<file extension> For instance, Saw.C1.auto.wav Saw.F1.auto.wav Saw.C2.auto.wav Etc.

Yes, we follow the KVR forms very strictly. Synthmaster 2 iOS user manual will be out very soon. If you send me a sample package from your multisamples, I'd like to try and understand the problem.multicube wrote: Sun Aug 08, 2021 5:40 pm I have been trying to import multi samples into SM2. Before I send any samples I would like to try and explain the problem I am having, in the Files app on my iPad I made a folder Synthmaster2/Instruments, inside this folder is five samples with their root notes (just for testing purposes) - Flute.C3.wav Flute.D#3.wav etc. If I drag this folder and drop it on the wave window, then tap on this window and select Waveforms/User/Instruments/Flute, SM2 instantly crashes. This also happens when dropping an identical folder - SynthmasterOne/Instruments with the same samples into SMO, but it also crashes when selecting this instrument. I can import one of these samples and it will play but it sounds unnatural at higher or lower notes. If I do need to send you a sample pack to you what method should I use.

You better post it because there is most likely something wrong with these samples. Let's try to find this problem.multicube wrote: Thu Aug 12, 2021 8:18 pm Before I send any samples I would like to try and explain the problem I am having, in the Files app on my iPad I made a folder Synthmaster2/Instruments, inside this folder is five samples with their root notes (just for testing purposes) - Flute.C3.wav Flute.D#3.wav etc. If I drag this folder and drop it on the wave window, then tap on this window and select Waveforms/User/Instruments/Flute, SM2 instantly crashes. Mmm, I have tried posting a sample pack folder containing 5 small wav files by using the ADD FILES tab and also drag and drop in the message box but all I get is INCORRECT FILE EXTENSION, please could you specify a method that I can use successfully.
BTW, I’m looking forward to having the new user manual

I have managed to email you my 5 samples pack as requested under the subject “issue #80100” (this issue is still existing).
I am looking forward to your helpful findings. Mike.

Hi Gercek, have you managed to check my audio samples that I emailed to you on 16/08/21? I would still like to import my own samples as root notes into SM2.

Greetings, I tested the samples you sent me on both Synthmaster 2 and Synthmaster iOS. There was no crash. It also remembered my preset and my samples when I closed and reopened Synthmaster. I can use samples just fine. While saving the presets in Synthmaster 2 ios, I opened a new file for myself and saved the presets there. (not just inside the user file) - By the way, I changed the sample rate to 44100 while importing the samples.
I assigned mod wheel to filter / cutoff parameter on it and I didn't get any crash issues here either.

Thank you Gercek, I knew you would be able to sort this problem for me
I have also converted my sample wav’s from 48000 to 44100 before importing to SM2 and they now work perfectly and without crashing, this is fantastic because there are so many other sounds that I occasionally use in other none Au3 synth apps that I can now import into SM2, it saves having to change midi channels to play different parts live, ie Nave/Animoog,iVCS3,Sampletank etc, SM2 just gets better and better.
I am looking forward to the new user manual in your next update.
Last of all, I would also like to thank you for your suggestion of pressing the Restore Purchases tab before I assign new midi banks in Browser to prevent all my presets from mysteriously disappearing, and also before renaming banks (previous bug reports), all is working as it should be
Synthmaster 2 is truly awesome.
