still waiting for my HEAR ebay copy, so I downloaded the freebie.

er, maybe I'm being completely dense, but it didn't give me a keyfile to download, just a license number to go with my machine number. I can't see any entry field anywhere for the number.

Anybody know what's up? thx.

still, it's generally accepted practice to clearly and boldly inform the user what the next step is.

It went straight from the info fillout form, to the summary page with the license number. I looked around for further instructions, but didn't see any mention of an email. Perhaps I missed it.

Bigsby, fair enough-- the instructions are only in normal-sized text. I, myself, when I'm waiting for a new product or eagerly registering for something tend to just click the 'large' prompts in my excitement, so I can understand how you might have missed it. Sorry if it looked like I was being snarky.
