Which plugins talk to each other across tracks?

I picked up MMultianalyzer on sale recently and it got me wondering if there are other melda plugs that can be placed on multiple tracks and have them communicating on the back end? I also own MXXX but have never tried the multianalyze module across tracks, probably because there's so many other things to try when i open MXXX
does that work? and can I exploit it for experiments? izotope has their mixing stuff where you can invert eq curves as you move them around if the tracks are linked, for example. I'm just thinking about wild sound design possibilities if i have an mxxx on every track and things happen everywhere when i mess around. like when i increase the decay on this reverb, it decreases on this other track, and the release time on this other synth. i can probably set this all up with careful thought and macros, but I thought I'd think out loud on a forum..

...more than likely the "mixing revolution" when it arrives will have a lot of that capability. Currently we basically mix vertically and sum horizontally, with only "side chaining" for limited "horizontal" interactions. Imagine what could be done if we could link across rows of parameters/etc...(sigh)...(soon?)...

Yup, correct. MMultiAnalyzer and MAutoAlign are the only ones "talking to each other" at the moment. But in the future, the mixing revolution will need that as well.

cool good to know thanks. I'm going to think about max4live options and macros. I'm imagining the mix revolution as using faders to cut out spectral frequency space in a mix rather than standard volume faders and channel strips. i hope it is something like this. i would like a new option beyond the analog gear paradigms. i like to try and imagine fading in a track via spectral sculpting. or just weighting instruments in terms of frequency space importance and just riding the volume fader for composition reasons and eq and compression strictly for sound designMeldaProduction wrote: Sat Aug 28, 2021 6:44 pm Yup, correct.
