Bug in 1.6.0.1?

Hello all. I just started using Tracktion today and I like it very much. It seems to perform very well, soft synths and all, on my Ti-Book. However, I believe I found a repeatable bug. Steps:
1. Open an edit (the included "Fangbonus" will do).
2. Click the Racks button (top right).
3. Click on the scroll bar (not the arrows) and scroll down until the last track is visible (leave it there).
4. Click on the Racks button again to hide the Rack.
5. Now scroll all the way to the top (again using the bar, not the arrows).
When I go through these steps, the tracks (and the scroll bar) disappear. The sequence still plays initially, but the program soon becomes unstable (audio glitches and then quits). I repaired permissions, ran the crons, emptied caches, and it still happens. Is anyone else able to reproduce this?
My system is a Ti-Book 1 GHz, superdrive, 768 MB RAM, OSX 10.2.8, using built-in audio. Tracktion version is 1.6.0.1.

Works OK for me, though I'm on Windows. I've never seen T do anything like that.

I actually had this happen to me last night for the first time (and had no idea how it had happened...I wasn't using racks)
....and yes I can reproduce the fault as described on a 10.3.6 machine.

Here's a way to get the disappearing tracks on my system without clicking on the Racks button:
1. Open any edit.
2. Resize the last track (make it larger) until the scroll bar appears.
3. Using the scroll bar, scroll all the way down, until the last track is completely visible again. Leave it there.
4. Now resize the last track (make it small again).
5. Using the scroll bar (not the arrows), scroll back up to the top.
Scrolling via the "arrows" will not produce the problem. It seems to be isolated to the bar only.

Not got a mac to try it, but that does sound like a bug. I'd mail Jules direct about that one, jules@rawmaterialsoftware.com. Back in the day he'd have that sorted and a new version out in no time
Sounds like it could be the infamous maths error problem that hides tracks off screen. There's a manual fix for it, which you could use as a workaround for the minute, i'll dig out the thread and post it

Yeah,
No need to email Jules on this. He's seen it before and posted a workaround in the thread above.
Thanks,
Ben

Here it is so you don't have to wade through the previous thread:
Open the edit in a text editor and changing the "tracktop" value back to zero.
Hope this helps.

Alternatively, do mail him, because he knows the bug happens, but doesn't know when, under what circumstances, or how to replicate it.
But if you tell him, he can figure out what's causing the problem and fix it.

Sorry, didn't mean that to be as arsey as it sounded, I just meant that in general if you can replicate a bug with a series of steps, you should mail them to the developer, because that gives him somewhere to look to fix it, rather than just saying "I get this bug sometimes"

ah, thanks chaps - I'd actually fixed the bug already, it's just caused by a maths overflow that only happens on the Mac.

I just got very angry, having an entire newly finished project disappear in Tracktion for osx 1.6.0.1. As I havnt seen this bug before, I really hope this is gonna be fixed in the mac osx Tracktion 2 version? Is it not? And how did I fix this bug exactly in my project....changing tracktop=0 in xml/project file?
