Would you use an "MGuitarist"?

So I've been talking to a lot of people who use Mdrummer these last few weeks. And after realizing the amount of people who use the rhythm editor and automatic features within the suite, it made me realize the next logical step, would be a Guitar suite. A guitar version of Mdrummer. With phrases, notes, chords and an insane level of tweakability. I know V said the docket is full for the next few years, and he even said he never was a guitar master and didn't see the appeal of Amp Sims as the market was saturated, but he has a way with providing a detail no other plugin company provides. Would love a 2025 release.

Ample Sound and Shreddage already sound fantastic sure...but with the integration of MXXX, Mdrummer, MGuitarArchitect and the soon to be released Mixrevolution? That would be a home run.

What do you think? Do Midi guitars have a place? Or no replacement for real strings?

Well, I'm a guitarist and sampled guitars are not on my wishlist... But I'm not a "samples" fan at all. I only sporadically unse drum or sound effect samples for my stuff. I just don't like it.

It's definitely not everyone's cup of tea. It took me a long time to enjoy the sampled sound

I'm looking forward to the amp sim release (assuming I can afford to buy it). But an actual guitarist simulator is of little to no value to me. Guitarists are a dime a dozen and even good ones will work for cheap.

On top of this the translation from all the nuance and articulation plus tone and dynamics of an actual player never seems to translate from most other input sources, especially without a lot of editing.

I found the notion that an amp sim didn't make sense to be an odd one. The guitarist market is far and away the largest instrument market when it comes to purchases of gear outside the instrument itself, by a massive margin. If priced cheap enough, I'm expecting TurboAmp to be a surprise "hit" for melda.

I picked up mdrummer recently but still figuring out how to use it, quite a different workflow and interface than the usual suspects I've used.

Personally I would rather use my own guitar, but I can see a use for sampled guitars for those without the skills or even just a compositional tool for established guitarists

For the purpose of composing one can use whatever sounds nearly as a guitar ;)

How true... E.g. strumming.... Endless possibilities on a guitar, unlike piano, where it's basically mechanical so only the velocity changes. Five samples per note and you're done with piano sampling.
