If Mulab 9 can be used as a plugin, does it then eliminate the need for Mux 9 plugin?

In my opinion it would be better to wait a bit longer and then release M9 with the clip launcher. Doing it that way it will appear more as the next 'big thing' and will spark some interest in the community, potentially resulting in new Mulab users whereas adding the clip launcher in M.9.x may not be as prominent in the news.

So that already means you can trigger different clips, if you plan things right... That's a pretty nice feature!mutools wrote: Thu Sep 09, 2021 11:06 amYou can define cue points in a composition and play these live from MIDI notes, or sequence them from a parent/meta composer. This feature is appart from the forthcoming Live Part Matrix. In fact it originated as one of the various methods to sync MuLab 9 plug-in with a host DAW, but grew to a real musical feature for both the app & plug-in versions.
(I immediately imagine cascading, chaotic falls of triggering runs over different sub-sub-...-sub-composers with their audio outputs carefully planned to sound amazing...)

I am curious how many points it would be possible to define. Is it limited to 127, or possibly more?

At least one per key, thus minimum 128 per composer.
More details later when the public beta is out.

The release date will be communicated when the release date is known. Currently it's still unknown. M9 still has to go thru its beta test stage.

One of my favorite quotes ever......
There are known knows and then there are known unknowns and of course unknown unknowns.

I think thats better as other and all i need. so need not create additional parts that need add in a grid.Anyway, even without the Live Part Matrix, M9.0 also already has this new feature:
You can define cue points in a composition and play these live from MIDI notes, or sequence them from a parent/meta composer.
beause on live sequence mode and live mode are diffrent
with that m9 feature i can test live good sounding arrangement and can play them with meta composer in single tracks or more tracks in a way that i add a sequence as track 1 s1 s3 s2 s1 .
on other DAW such arranger track work only for all tracks.
