What does undesigned mean in this context?

It means there are parts that are not designed to match the look of the rest of the UI.

But fully functional, I assume. There are a lot of warnings to use the nightly builds that I am a bit afraid to break something.
I would put a brickwall limiter at the end of my signal path and Reaper in general mutes outputs that exeed a certain value.
Can I safely install the nigthly build of Surge XT alsongside the V 1.9?

In some cases (patch browser, modulation list) it still needs a lot of development and it's pretty crude.

XT installs alongside 1.9, yes.

Sorry if this has been answered but I see XT has all the patches of the current version but they don't always sound the same, is this on the list or maybe the patches will be updated/removed at some point...? Thanks.

Sine Sequencer 1 in the Sequencer group off the top of my head, I noticed the filter type was off in XT but HP 24 in 1.9 and it sounds like the delay is missing although the params look ok.

Am I correct that the Shortcircuit XT rewrite is pretty much in hibernation now? A peek at the Github resource doesn’t suggest any activity for quite a while.
