@ UncleE is this something likely to appear in your Black Friday sales?
They have always done Black Friday sales in the past. If you want to get it sooner, I can give away a set of calibrated headphones when you buy the Headphone version.

OK, this kind of blows me away:

That's very kind of you but I'm in the UK so getting anything physical from outside of the UK (correction anything from outside of England, Scotland or Wales, maybe Isle of Man and Channel Isles) means lots of money and time. I can wait until Black Friday.

Just posted this on the no chat thread..

United Plugins FrontDaw has been updated and is now 19euro down from 49euro for a couple of weeks. I see it is available for £15.95 from Plugin Boutique.

Demoing it now it seems quite nice, subtle but nice.

the email i got involved signing up at their mastering service (mastering.studio) - that apparently gives you the code for the bx_meter. the one posted might have been a one-use code.

if you do want to sign up the code you need (according to the email - i haven't used it) is: MASTERING-STUDIO-FREE-MASTER

I received the email and followed through to sign up - no need to use the mastering code in order to sign up, the plugin coupon will be delivered in your email after you verify your sign up.

That Mastering code can be used for a free mastering of one track (basically $10 master). Bx are now offering this online mastering 'with soul' but to my ears this is just another online automated mastering that does some things ok but really botched other things in my track. May reflect my own inadequacies on that mix, but still, a real human wouldn't make those elementary mistakes where the mix is now sounding worse. By no means does it replace a real fader riding and problem solving human. There are 8 algorithms to choose from with no ability to customise parameters and I think this is its biggest downfall. Competition such as Cloudbounce give quite a few tweakable parameters including 'genre' and mix knob so its better value to tweak and may produce better results.

Plugin Boutique has a bundle including Massive, Absynth & FM8 for $99 (and Replika).
I have Absynth already and am not a fan of the direction NI is currently heading as I've expressed elsewhere in the forums, but that's a nice price for those 3 synths and the delay, if you have none of them yet. I'm mulling it over b/c I have some bonus dollars or what have you accumulated at PB, not that I need 2 more synths but it's tempting.

Sounds twice in your post that you dont need it, but you want to spend money on a bargain, so maybe wait till Black Friday to pocket other shiny things.

Thing is, Replika is ok but a bit of a cpu hog, you can buy great delays such as Valhalla Delay for $50 and as for synths there are tons on offer, just depends how you want/need to fill up your arsenal.

Resist the temptation to buy because it feels like a bargain!

Yeah I'm more enticed by the two synths, esp. FM8, Replika not so much as I have delays galore. Mainly just posting for others sakes. If I didn't have Absynth already I'd be all over that it wouldn't take any decision making it'd be automatic. Still a great synth unlike any other that I use regularly.

Noticed in the no chat thread:

"Sonivox Stratum now $29.99 and receive both Twist and Wobble for free"

if i pay extra, can i avoid getting twist and wobble?

would be interesting to know if you could transfer the synths separately, I fear not as I believe you can't split other NI bundles.

Hi Eric. Are you guys going to offer the “RX Post Production Suite 5 Upgrade from any version of RX Standard” like plug-in boutique is offering?

https://www.pluginboutique.com/product/ ... X-Standard

This includes a free upgrade to v6 when it comes out.

Post

Being quoted €149 to upgrade from Arturia V Collection 6 to 8 including the newly released Ensoniq simulation V SQ 80.
I think that's an ok deal for a change.

Has anyone seen when that deal expires? I can see the V SQ 80 crossgrade offer (€49) expires 5th October, but not seen an end date for this deal.
Would rather buy it next month if possible.

Are you safe?
