I've been trying to use the latest version of Waveform PRO on Ubuntu 21.04 and it is impossible. You click something and you have to wait a couple of seconds for the UI to respond.
It's not an audio issue. I am running the lowlatency kernel and I have waveform using JACK audio which is using RT scheduling no problems at all.
What is with the SEVERE lag and how can I fix it.
Waveform won't even exit. It's just unresponsive to clicking the exit button in the window frame.
The little hamburger menu bottom left is not responding.
It's a fairly decent computer - i7, 32GB ram, Nvidia 2070 super.

I second this. OpenGL rendering isn't working well for me either. Software rendering is much more responsive.

Can any of you guys check to see how much GPU is being used when running OpenGL renderer ( command nvidia-smi ) I noticed that it never exceeded 14mb , which I think could be the problem comparing to other applications were utilizing a lot more graphics memory
