So the normal Waveform free bit with some plugins. For the install, they just point you to the Waveform website. Bit of a piss take to call it Waveform special edition.

Was Collective coded by Wolfram Franke?
Nevermind, found the answer to my first question in the manual: https://www.tracktion.com/wp/wp-content ... -guide.pdf It's indeed coded by Wolfram Franke.
Now I just ask myself whether or not it can be used outside of Waveform.

Collective is usually $60 so, yeah, strange terminology but looks like you get something extra.
Anyone know if it works in other hosts? I mean, the regular version is a vst, au etc but wondering if it's tied to Tracktion somehow?

Dont know about this special edition but when it first came out for me Collective runs ONLY outside of Waveform in my other DAW......(one of the reasons I finally quit Tracktion/Waveform)

Dumb ass here forgot he had a readly trial... yeah, standalone vsti. Quite an impressive library. I'm not big on traditional instruments so my aging Dimension Pro is fine but this may usurp it.

Wondering if this is a way for existing users to get Collective and/or the Beta Maxed pack for the cost of the magazine?
How does it work? Are there download codes in the magazine, or products on a disc - and can you pick and choose which files to install?

You get an access code in the mag, and register the software with it on Tracktion's site then. After that, the software is being added to your account.

The code for the extras is stored in the FileSilo for cm300, so you'll need to get the CM issue to unlock access to it.
PS Waveform 10 runs on Windows 7. Does Waveform 11? The SysReqs page says Windoes 8 or 10, but maybe that just means fully supported?
