yes, but the problem is that tracktion won't recognize more than 1 stereo pair with eXT. it just doesn't show the additional ins/outs for eXT

I guess it has problems with dynamicaly created ports?

Hi rokkon, just use NicFit's handy batch file. It works here...

thanks, but strange, i already made an .ini file in my windows dir and it didn't work. guess i made something wrong... i'll try out the batch now.

What I meant was that I was trying to find a reason for buying XT, apart from using it for Chords and Arps.

I bought it a few weeks ago anyway. It's great value for money, and I'm beginning to realise it's potential, although I'm finding it needs quite a bit of effort to get it set up as a sequencer. The presets for getting started on the XT forum would be a big help.

It's great for the developers like Jorgen and WilliamK to be able to tell us what's on they're "to do" lists, something sadly lacking from the forum at the moment.

no it didn't work with NicFit's batch neither.

But now I found out it doesn't work in buzz as well. and I know it used to work with buzz... weired

I just downloaded the latest version of ext, and it doesn't work any more either. Hmmm. The older version did work.

maybe jorgen meanwhile implemented a better way to set-up the ports? if yes, i cannot figure it out.

Hiya

In the latest version, the ini file hack needs to be enabled properly. Heres an example from the a inifile using 4 stereo in and 4 stereo out:

Code: Select all

[VST]
enable=1
inputs=8
outputs=8

Whats new is the "enable=1" line.

I havent tested in T though.

On my first attempt, I couldn't get the ext sequencer comp to start/stop with the Tracktion sequencer.

I have the energyxt vsti loaded in a tracktion track

I know it's something silly.

Any ideas?
