Hey Jo and the others

I'm trying to make my controller's parameter to control MUX's controller parameter
I notice that it bypass the linking in the background and thus I can't control it properly.

here are too GIFs to show the issue:
Linked between Param1 and MP1
I control the value of the param1 from my xy controller, but the value of the param1 (which is linked to MP1), doesn't control the MP1 parameter when I move it from the XY even tho it does control it only when I move the param1 directly.

This bypassing kills the idea of my tool. :dog:
can you help me to find a solution from stopping this bypassing.? :help:

here you can see that it bypass also internal multilinks

if it's not too hard, is it possible to consider a quick beta update for this ?
I can do amazing morphing controllers once this will be available

I understand your request, it's a logical. However it's not a 5 or 10 minute job. And i'm also not sure if this deep-reversed meta-parameter control is something every user would want, it could lead to kind of unexpected situations, because it can create complicated link actions when using deeply nested links to various parameters, including other meta-parameters, then tweaking one parameter could possibly lead to conflicting situations, not sure, would have to research that.

If a certain feature is requested by many users chance increases it wil be implemented.
There are many users who have their own personal favorite wishlist.
Unfortuantely i have not the resources to implement them all.
I apologize for that and am regulalrly thinking about how to optimize the workload.

Besides the above i also want to keep focus on finalizing M9 as much as possible.

What can i say...
I wish i could show off the students and my friends my morphing tool inside MUX... i cant do it without this feature, this bypassing kills the whole idea and i couldnt find any workaround.

I will really appreciate it if you will give it a try.

hey
this is an XY controller for morphing between lots of parameters at the same time (more between presets like KORE2, just better) :hihi:

better than KORE2's morphing pad?! :o
can you share an example?

much better imho
I just need that mux to allow multilinking without bypassing links...so I can use it inside mux itself.

here is an example (GIF)

Now that's a nice controller you've got there!
I just saw that there will be a new beta (pre 9) next month, maybe it will work better for you in the beta version.

PS- I've sent you a PM

Post

I hope so
Thanks
