Ingo Wegener made a new demo tack of Bioscape, using only the sounds from Bioscape along with a bit of Spitfire's Peel Guitar, all other sounds are 100% found sounds and field recordings from within Bioscape.

Dude, I got it the other day, and you guys just made an instant SILENT HILL maker machine. I could write half of Silent Hill soundtrack just using this. Great job!Luftrum wrote: ↑Mon Jul 26, 2021 8:45 am Still a few days left with Bioscape at 40% off during the Summer Sale. Enter tropicana in the promo field at checkout.

Thank you! Glad it lives up to your expectations.
If anyone of you owns Bioscape and find it worthy for a nomination, I would be grateful if you would vote for Bioscape for the Reader's Choice Awards, every single small vote counts, as I don't think you need more than a few votes to be nominated. Just click this link: https://www.kvraudio.com/readers-choice ... instrument
Search for Bioscape, click it, that's it.

Bioscape is updated to v1.3.
We have teamed up with Nick from Aroshanti, a composer of ambient world meditation music, to bring you a collection of 154 world instrument samples to Bioscape. While adding tonality and balance, these acoustic sounds create an exceptional synergy when combined with the field recordings in Bioscape. Dreamlike handpans, mystic Tibetan bowls, deep Bansuri and Shakuhachi flutes, earthy didgeridoos, rainsticks, overtone chants and more – all masterly recorded by Nick himself.
Bioscape v1.3 is free and updated directly in Native Access and to celebrate the update, Bioscape is 30% off (from $159 → $111) until September 30, just enter Aroshanti in the promo field at checkout, to activate the discount.
We are also honored to see, that Bioscape once again is nominated to the KVR Audio Readers Choice Award in the category Favorite Sampled Virtual Instrument. If you find Bioscape worthy, will you then please vote for it to win? Just click this link and choose Bioscape, that’s it. You will automatically be awarded the title “Luftrum Friend of the Year 2021” if you do.

I'm glad to have the new sounds to use--I had actually made a patch with an imported didgeridoo, and I've been looking into getting a throat singing library, so this addresses that nicely.
Doing nothing is only fun when you have something you are supposed to do.

Bioscape is excellent and a joy to use. The new samples also fit the context of the instrument and others samples very nicely!
Additional snapshots with these would be super cool, too (just in case I missed them).

Thank you and yes, new snapshots to accompany the Aroshanti update will be created down the road. By the way, Bioscape is 30% off until October 16 during the Luftrum Autumn Sale, just in case someone missed it.

Hey Luftrum, has anyone figured out your sound art paradox yet?
(I mean, I certainly haven't, but thought maybe someone else might have!)

Yes! It was actually solved in 36 hours by a certain Peter from Canada and to be honest, I hadn't expected it to be solved so fast, but he nailed it and solved the treasure hunt but I will get back to this subject later on, there is still a rather attractive 2nd and 3rd prize (if I may say so myself) which is yet unclaimed, so there are still treats to those who solve it!Double Tap wrote: ↑Mon Oct 04, 2021 9:41 am Hey Luftrum, has anyone figured out your sound art paradox yet?

I will likely give it to December before I close it all and reveal the winner's approach to how he solved the audio puzzle. For those who got absolutely no clue about what I am talking about, check this page:

I'm sure it must involve timestretching somehow but I'm clearly doing something wrong.

Yes, you really need to streeetch your creativity to solve it, definitely, but also, one needs to think out of the box and maybe solve the riddle in reverse order of what would be considered the normal way of doing things.

I have to say, I'm very happy with picking this up during the sale.
Enjoying the factory library quite a bit, and you made the right choice in allowing sample import - it makes for a really neat 4-layer X/Y platform within Kontakt for working with your own samples, and I'm finding myself enjoying the workflow (outside of the beefy load times, if you ever find a way to improve those, please do so - it's probably the Achilles heel of this library).
