I'm reinstalling everything as I had to reformat my C drive (windows 10) and I kept my libraries on a separate drive. Everything is still there, I just want MSoundFactory and MDrummer to use it.

I've updated the paths in the SETTINGS area of the "Download and Install" dialog but there is no button for "scan" or "re-sync" :(

Do I really have to download everything again? Can't I edit a config file or something? There is 86GB of content there :/

Have a look in [Settings] > Sampler panel for MSF. And [Menu] > Download and Install for MDrummer.
Root
Root defines the main path for samples and samples banks. By placing all factory content in a single folder the plugin always knows where the data is, since these may be referenced from various places. It is recommended to use a high-speed SSD drive for this data for optimal performance.
MDrummer factory path
MDrummer factory path controls the location of all the MDrummer data, from samples to rhythms. It is highly recommended to use a fast SSD drive, so that the streaming is quick enough. However note that some of the MDrummer packs may require dozens of gigabytes of space.

Yeah I read all of that and it made no difference. I ended up finding the original package files which I thought I had deleted so I just went through the installation of them again. I think a "scan" option would be good in future even though it seems like an edge case. Just thankful I didn't have to download the whole lot again.

Please contact us via the contact form / email and Luke will help you with that. Don't forget to send him screenshots of what you actually have in these folders. Just changing the path should do the trick, so since it doesn't do that for you, something is wrong in there.
