I'm trying to do a mic recording, tried the laptop's mic and then a usb mic, both work ok alone but when I tried to add an audio track, Rack 3, to record my ugly voice, on " Rack 3 recorder" pop up window, the pull down list for both of the left and right input remained None. What am I not doing pls?

Also, I recorded a voice piece on the laptop and when I browsed to located it wasn't on the list to upload to the track.

Are you using an ASIO driver?

No, Microsoft Sound Mapper.

You need to use an ASIO driver in order to record audio. You could try Asio4All.
