Thing to remember with this stuff is if you’re not happy with something now you can sell it, doesn’t mean you can’t buy it again a year or two further down the line.

I started with Live 5 Lite which came free with a midi-keyboard iirc then bought Live 6 soon as it came out. Upgraded to Suite in v7 and I'm rockin' the Live 11 beta these days.
