If it's really rejected by DDoS Protection, then maybe it's possible to put a token inside the downloader, so Cloudflare will pass it to tracktion.com? (dunno which technics they can provide).

Ah, now I see why Waveform hadn’t been able to activate itself over net. 
Yep, the situation is not great. At least the support emailed me an offline activation file. But that indeed wouldn’t help with in-DAW downloads (which I haven’t used once, but I’m certainly aware for many people that would be critical).
@Kott have you suggested this to support? Something in that vein seems like a good idea!
