MIDI clock output

Hello,
I have an EDIROL um880 interface and 3 midi devices. It is possible to set midi clock output to multiple midi devices in Tracktion like in Cubase?
It seems only the device set to default gets the clock.
Another problem that I set the speed to 140BPM but my synth plays on very slow speed, certainly not on 140.
Any suggestions?
thanks

If anyone need also clock input, there is a suggestion:
-download the free MIDIClock application
-launch so many instances as many synths you have, set BPM and start
-start Tracktion, all outputs now have clock
Better suggestions welcome!

I haven't tested this yet myself, but last time I looked thru the FruityLoops manual (V5) it featured an option to be the 'Master Output Clock' (or some such jibjab... ImageLine's creative terminology for 'MIDI Clock')
Anyone try that one yet? Just a late night idea before I pop off to bed.

the midi clock trick is nice, but is there a way to have it START traktion on time so not only the clock is matched but the start point is too
i use to control a kaoss pad2( for the bpm rythm gate fx) on my guitar, playng along with reason and traktion and i want my gate to be in time
any 1 got another nice trick?

If you have FL Studio slaved via ReWire to Tracktion (and assuming that FL Studio's Master Clock Output outputs all standard clock data) then it should be syncing up to Tracktions Bar/Beat location and outputting the Bar/Beat information to your device.cyberpink wrote:the midi clock trick is nice, but is there a way to have it START traktion on time so not only the clock is matched but the start point is too

I'm awaiting the arrival of a new MIDI interface. Hopefully I should be able to test this theory on Saturday.

Any one have any success syncing external midi gear using that plugin?
Does it get out of Sync? If you put it in Loop Mode over an even amount of bars and what is peoples opinions of the clock being well in sync with Traction?
Im really keen to know, I wanna use traction now!!
Who cares about T2 this program

It is actually possible to do quite a lot with MIDI without clock you know!Biga wrote:MIDI without clock isn't useful.
No midi clock - no arpeggios
Actually, I was using CCs & Prg Changes to control my guitar effects for years before I even programmed or recorded a single note!
You could even <deep breath> program an arpeggio in the piano roll!!!
