Ok, I'm stumped.
I have a section of vocal(3or3 words)which I would like to move a little bit back to match an instrumental part on another track.
I've tried marking the in&out points with the cursor to slide it back a bit but can't get it to work.
Would it be easier to make a copy of the marked section and than delete the first section and then place the copied section in the spot where I want it?
How to move marked section in clip?

why not just split clip on either side of the section you want to move then simply move it?

Yeah, you need to slice up the wav file you can not just highlight and move a section.
Once sliced just grab it on top and move it.
Also disable the "snap" button while moving the clip so you can place it exactly where you want it to.
