Just migrating from 10 to 11. Sforzando seemed to just get lost when selecting a .SF2 file - but apparently it's explorer popup was behind its own window. Visible when you do the ALT-TAB windows thing, but the instant you release the key to switch to that window, the .VST again takes forefront with the file explorer hidden - and no apparent way to cancel it - just beeping ! Is there a setting that allows windowed behavior to "work normally" ? This isn't the same behavior as Waveform 10 at all...

I'm currently demoing 11 and I'm also getting a lot of windows problems on my laptop using a single screen. I'm finding plugin windows always open behind the quick actions window and any window that's undocked. With docked windows everything's ok. With plugin sandboxing enabled, opening plugins also causes Waveform to come out of full-screen mode as well. I haven't experimented yet with a multi-screen setup but at the moment there are definitely problems with windows and single screen use. This is on Windows 10.

This has been a major annoyance for me since beta. Disable sandboxing for the plugin and it should work as normal. That's the only fix I've found so far.

Hopefully this can be fixed...i clicked something that required me to answer a pop-up question. It was hidden, and the stupid VST window covered everything, even my internet browser, everything. Not able to move it, because there's a pop-up i have to answer but can't. Everytime this happens, I have to go full on CTRL ALT DEL which is very frustrating.

This might be helpful, from the other thread that you posted in:
EDIT: I discovered that one can still send a single keypress to the window being hovered over in the Windows tab bar. This allows for actions such as clicking the currently focussed button by pressing the spacebar; advancing the focus to the next button by pressing the "TAB" key; etc. It can still be quote clumsy to deal with modal dialog boxes this way.
Surely there must be consensus by now...
