Hi all, doing my first baby steps with Waveform, nice!
but alas getting a crash with the Pitch Shifter...

I can reproduce it with following steps:
-create new edit
-add an audio clip to track 1
-add pitch shifter plugin to track 1
-in pitch shifter UI, click "settings" button
-enable "Synchronize Timestretch/Pitch shift (this is essential!)
-then rapidly rotate the Semitones knob back and forth -> after a few seconds the DAW crashes with command line message
"Assertion failed: (!(!bBufferCheck)), function ProcessData, file /jenkins/workspace/elastiquePro/trunk/elastiquePro-macOS/elastiqueEfficient/src/elastiqueEfficientV3/elastiqueV3.cpp, line 302."

I'm running Waveform Version 11.5.18 (Built: 12 July 2021) (64-bit), on Big Sur, Intel CPU

Is this a known issue?

cheers

Yes, I can confirm that the crash happens. It still happens when I rotate the knob slowly. I am using Waveform V 11.5.18 on Mac Catalina.
I would imagine that rotating the knob while the "synchronize Timestretch" is checked overloads the processor... just my guess.

I did try to stop the playback, then adjust the semitone amount and then continue playing the track. In this case, there is no crash. Honestly, I have no idea what the Synchronize Timestretch does or when to use it. Whether it is checked off or on, I don't seem to hear any difference to the audio in the edit. The audio continues to play back at the correct speed.

Hopefully someone else can chime in with their solutions or confirmations.

ha, so I wasn't hallucinating it then :-) in my case it also still happens when the transport is stopped
