I started with version 4. Didn't like it at the time. Didn't really get into it until version 8.legendCNCD wrote: Tue Sep 28, 2021 12:42 pmSince 2007 I think, the time when I started to ditch Cubase, but that took still like 3 years to move so I think around 11 years.Autobot wrote: Thu Sep 23, 2021 9:05 am I'm since ten or eleven years on Live now. Haven't had a crash yet with Live 11.0.11, but I've mostly been using the 11.1 beta. Speaking of which, I finally got to try the Apple silicon/M1 build. It was faster, but not as much faster as I thought it might be. Perhaps 3-4% less CPU usage during playback of the demo. It felt snappier, but not light years. Boot and load times were very much quicker. Nice improvement, but I was looking for more gain in the playback department. Maybe that will improve gradually.

Are you on an M1, or just seeing a benefit on an intel system?jonljacobi wrote: Wed Oct 06, 2021 1:29 am Haven't had a crash yet with Live 11.0.11, but I've mostly been using the 11.1 beta. But in "what's new", they don't mention M1 native support!
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

I was looking for some nice, energetic breaks recently so I'm happy to see Ableton delivering on it front & centerAzbest wrote: Tue Oct 05, 2021 10:37 pm New Live 11.0.11 introduced constant crashing to make sure the user doesn't forget about much needed breaks. Nice one Ableton.

Because 11.1 is still in beta. Technically it isn't "released" yet.

It looks normal here. I'm using Live 11.0.11 on latest Windows 10.
So maybe it's a Windows 11 thing?
