What do you want to see in V16?

If I'm in the wrong, then I apologise, but I'm not sure how this is a negative?chk071 wrote: Thu Oct 07, 2021 8:10 pmAbsolutely. It's happening everywhere though. I made my commetns just now in this thread, as an absolute die hard fan. They come from nowhere other than a place of support and love for Vojtek and the tools he's given us.
If people are excited and passionate about these plugins as I, and I believe the other commenters here have been, it's because I appreciate the quality of work undertaken, and am positively encouraging them to do more in the hope that he will make more money when we buy more tools.
To look at it from another perspective, and put it quite bluntly. This is a business. This is exactly the opposite of "a rich kid getting a Ferrari and whining that it is the wrong colour." We have purchased these products with our hard earned money. If we give ideas, suggestions and feedback on what we as producers and hobbyists want or need, then it could be seen as free market researech. They are free to take those comments as they see fit, or ignore them.
Getting upset on someone's behalf becauase they're doing well and people want more of their products seems a little odd to me.
Again, if I have misunderstood the situation in any way, I apologise, text on a screen can come across in a number of ways, and perhaps I've just missed the mark here, but I just felt it had to be said

I know that GUI designer exists but I want to spend time on making music not drawing interfaces or thinking through the ui logic. That's not a matter of design taste or what I prefer. Good design in mostly universal.Underoath77 wrote: Thu Oct 07, 2021 11:44 am So there is a GUI designer you realize? You can create your own themes as well, but shorts of custom themes for graphs, you can create anything you want. That being said , do you have a companies who's design sense you are a fan of?toitoi wrote: Thu Oct 07, 2021 5:25 am A professional graphic designer and UX designer work. I suppose that is a fair point

I would like to see some additional parts for easy mode(Device).
(e.g. analyzers, envelopes, curves... etc.)
I would be even happier if they could be used together in a custom GUI for Device or Device(easy mode)

If we're throwing out wacky ideas such as standalone, here's an interesting one... the ability to add the effects to the Windows/Mac audio output directly.
With melda tools you could easily build things like speaker correction, bass management systems, speaker emulation (e.g. phones), loudness/frequency analysis, limiting, multi-speaker controls, etc all for your main computer output. There is a pretty big gap in the market for a total solution like this, many of the existing solutions are clunky or very focused.
I have brought it up with Vojtech before but understandably he wasn't keen as it's a departure from the usual products... but it would allow you to process reference material, entertainment (youtube, games, movies) and more easily compare them with your own content as you can play it all through the main computer output rather than relying on ASIO, etc.
If this were built, it wouldn't be that far of a stretch to also process the INPUT too... so you can add melda effects such as high pass filtering or compression to your record input before it even reaches your DAW or other apps (e.g. microphones for video calls).

...fwiw...I am using "SoundSource" on the final audio output to achieve just what you are asking about. I have created/saved several different "curves" in MADEq along with MLA and a bunch of other "stuff" in an instance of "SoundSource"...works a treat...hth.../s~

- Improved Smart Interpolation CPU optimizations.
- More Multi Parameter slots.
- More easy screen/GUI options. Like adding a spectral analyzer or adding a custom envelope editor to the easy screen.
These things have been requested before though.

All plug-in could benefit from some professionally designed presets instead of randomly generated patches with random names
