How do I set up ableton live to use Melda Production's vocoder plugin?

Post

You need to attach a sidechain to the plugin. In that matter I'm afraid I cannot help you. I suggest contacting Live support or checking some documentation.

Sorry to bring that old one up, but have you need able to? I spent more than 1 hour trying to set it up and never been able to. I'm about to give up really... Or maybe you have a tip or solution? :-)

No idea in Live really, I never really understood this host, but I'll ask.

You need two tracks. It could be audio or midi track with a vst instrument.
On your carrier track (say the track with an instrument) you add the the mVocoder. Select there the other track as sidechain. And that is it!

Live is easy enough if you have the i/o open so you can see,the ins & outs. midi track w/synth audio routed to desired audio track with a vocoder inserted. There are pootube videos about it.
