Please grab Falcon 2.5.2. This should fix your issue.

My main issues with MIDI out was that
1. It doesn't work in all DAW/plugin format
2. What to output when you can have arp and stuff at any level.

Maybe I will do a dedicated module like MIDI record that explicitly tell what to output so you can place it in the chain where it make sense.

MIDI record that you can drag and drop into the host would be great. For example, Maschine doesn’t allow midi out from plugins. NKS would be great too

Still, in order to avoid another plugin format to support, I would prefer being able to retire VST2 before releasing VST3.
Plus VST3 MIDI CC support is still not the best and requires lots of fake parameter to be exported..

Just more developers are moving away from VST2 on Mac so I am tending to prefer the VST3 version over VST2 in mosts that support that (eg Bitwig).

At least Kore still works for you, too many incompatible VSTs here. I recall NI reps stating that Maschine would be a replacement for Kore, yeah about as much as Ableton Link is a replacement for Rewire.

Now it is possible to run standalone Falcon in Ubuntu Budgie 20.04 via Wine 6.0 RC6
i need to do more testing but everything seems to be working.
VSTi version also works if you use LinVST 3.5.

I was going to try but I was doubtful because of iLock. Does it work fine over Wine?
