Pure delay automation

Is there a way to automate pure delay module? As it has no mod input, no event input and its parameters cannot be attached to a meta parameter it seems it's impossible to change its properties over time with a controller. Is anyone also missing such feature or is it just me?

It's purpose is to add a fixed amount of delay. Automating that fixed amount would mean it wasn't fixed.

Then how about extending modular feedback delays' unit arsenal with beats and samples?

Yes I know, but 1 midi clock is not grainy enough and if I were to automate it the result would not be smooth.

I don't understand. When you sweep-automate a tempo delay in fine grains it will be off tempo. When you automate it with specific tempo synced values then midi clock resolution should be more than fine enough. Maybe i'm missing something?

Well, I tried different delay modules and then I discovered that mono echo does what I wanted to do with pure delay. Problem resolved, sorry for the confusion.
