Maybe. But it can't cycle record.
Plus, I never had any problems with recording and editing audio either.

Cubase, couldn't be happier. End of story.

Voted for Cubase. When just making sonuds I use quite often Minihost. Haven't checked out the new version yet, though.

And the Cubase version is trusty old VST/32. Being low on budget with 800Mhz AMD with Win98 there's not much sense in upgrading to SX...

yes - the missing audio-loop-recording is what bothers me most about Tracktion :tantrum:

- it's one of the reasons I've moved on to eXT....

Just a reminder post, I will be adding a similar post to each page as they come up, so everyone gets to read it.

I have left out some hosts from the list and have been kindly reminded – but I cannot edit the poll list now that the vote has started – the vote runs for five days whereby after that it will be frozen to represent a snapshot of current use in the hosts used to get a job done.

If you have a host that is not listed – please select Other and make a post indicating your vote. (if you post more than one host, the first will be counted, if its in the poll list in wont act like another vote)

At the end of the poll I will run through the threads and add up the votes for the hosts that were not in the poll list. So far votes for Logic, Live and Bidule have been posted as part of the Other listings.

Best regards,

Spe3d

Voted Other - Live 4.

My second most used would be FLS, third Tracktion.

I use Vegas the most, but it might not be considered a "host" per say, so I went for Tracktion. I also use minihost a lot (I always forget to donate, I should go do it now).

Sonar PE4 mostly, Adobe Audition sometimes... I have looked at audacity, traction (free), ACID (express), and eXT (demo) but I like the Sonar product best.

Sonar here.I might start a tune in Live or Reason, but it ends up in Sonar at the end of the day.EXT also gets a lot of use,and I've just started to play with Tracktion.
