That cracks me up. Zebra is the first synth I would turn to for that sort of thing. Compared to Absynth or Reactor it's VERY warm. You can get some metalic sounds out of it, but nothing as icy as Absynth or Reactor.
I use it all the time to counter balance those two, along with my moog. Then again, I make my own presets!

To each his own though, aren't you the guy who moved back to PC right when L7 came out? :-o :hihi:

HELL no! yes, Absynth is, but who cares, that's a bonus in the komplete2 bundle in my eyes, i would never buy it as a standalone purchase...i actually compare absynth and zebra very close. and yes, I am "that" guy. at least I have full pdc now :hihi: :P
are you sure..

Nope. This one is not kleinfitzelig. It's actually usable.

Unfortunately, I havn't devided a name for it nor have I decided what it should do. But it will go public beta early December and it's gonna be the practical case for pc ports.

Cheers,

seriously though, that LOOKS gorgeous. more infos please
It doesn't only LOOK gorgeous... it also makes any type of crap sound like the phattest stack of gearslut satisfaction :P

There's not much more to says about it. It's an equalizer with 400 or so parameters, just like MFM is a delay with 80 parameters. Most significant difference: It's yet easy to use :D

Closest friends probably are Antares Filter, Psp Nitro, Ohmies Quadfrohmage. But it's a completely different approach. It's more about making it easy to build stuff that evolves over time, rather than having a swiss army knive. It provides kinda different view on extensive filtering. And on my machine it uses only a fraction (say, a third... :? ) of the cpu that the others need... some practical applications are multiband compression, morphing eqs, de-essing, loudness, all kinds of panners and mono-2-stereo effects, talking drum loops, chopped pads, weird distortion, endlessly evolving delays... (well, okay, it IS a swiss army knive, still)

More soon, when the first beta phase is survived.

Cheers,

;) Urs
