I have an MXXX device in Reaper. In it I have an Amp, Cabinet, DistortionMB.
Within DistortionMB I want to automate a parameter, wet/dry band 1. I assign wet/dry band 1 to multiparameter 64.
Reaper does not have a pointer to MXXX>DistortionMB>Multi 64 in it's automation map pop up.
If I set Reaper to "Touch" and move DistortionMB>Multi 64 nothing comes up in Reaper.
So I'm assuming I'm above a limit for addressable parameters from within Reaper.
I know I can map it to midi but would rather automate (more track level visibility across the arrangement).
Is there an easy way to surface this very deep parameter to Reaper for automation?

Works OK here:

Or you can just open the Automation window and select the envelope there.

Reaper can access thousands of parameters

SOLVED - I have to use the multiparameters at the "top level" or the level of the modular grid. Then I can set any enclosed device parameter to that "top level" multiparameter and it shows up on Reaper.
I was using the multiparameter down inside the MSaturatorMB device. Reaper did not see it, or it does not emit automation, or both.
Thanks Darkstar, I knew you'd come through in no time!

Ah ha - you are right; Reaper or any other DAW host sees only the top-level 144+ parameters of MXXX . Not any nested ones.
PS That orange ADSR icon is "Touch" mode, but the pop-up tool tip was not captured.
