That's why in the Republic of Texas we just say "you all" or the more common "y'all."

or the hyper-plural version, which is "all y'all"

Used in a sentence: "All y'all need to get a grip."

Collective, gender-neutral terms in American English:

New York City: "youse" or "youse guys"

The South: "y'all" or "you all"

Most words in English are neutral. Gender isn't an intrinsic, it's applied through affixes. Usually we don't bother with those, except for a few left-overs. For instance, Leonardo di Caprio and Tori Spelling are both actors... to exactly the same extent. ;-) The word "actress" sounds kind of old-fashioned and quaint to some people, others think it sounds perfectly ordinary.

It's a great film. Given the premise, it was either going to be great, or just plain dumb. Fortunately as well as some great acting, the underlying story is very strong.

it's remarkably emotional tho.. such an impossibly crazy premise, and yet it all feels so completely natural when you're watching it. and the music is really stirring, it's impossible to not get moved by it. and yet it's f**king crazy!

it's a really really cool film.
