Like when I route say, a vibrato, to an EG, and the EG is turned off, the vibrato still happens? And it only happens when the knob is in the negative direction? Why does Vibrato even have negative values (to cover some undefined behavior in the programming/logic of the modulation system? I have no clue). Not immediately intuitive or straightforward. I think that if the module you're routing to is turned "off", then no modulation should happen. This would make the logic of the system less opaque. Or maybe a few extra paragraphs in the manual.

And yes, I can do some testing along with some propositional logic in my head and figure out how it works, that's not the point. Unless I'm using this one synth all the time, I'm not going to remember how it works when I open up the synth again a month or two from now and want to mess around patchmaking again.

edit: I should write what I'm trying to actually do that's making the modulation system appear difficult to work with: I'm trying to control the vibrato with an EG, so I can add a delay to the vibrato so the note starts with no vibrato but vibrato is slowly added to the sustain. Then I want the mod wheel to control the EG amount, so that if the mod wheel is at zero, there's no vibrato even on sustain. When mod wheel is all the way up, there's full vibrato on sustain. This seems like an easy task but there's something about the modulation system that I'm not getting.
This confused me too. I ended up thinking of the modulators as amount knobs that can have their amount modulated by anything other than off or on. But when it came to envelope generators things got weird in the negative modulations. I also wanted to find an attenuated vibrato and ended up just using mod wheel in much smaller amounts to achieve that effect.

Hi,

Here's my entry for this month, I used 5 instances of WhispAir, and Reaper's ReaLimit limiter, thanks for listening!

Yeah, the sound quality and features are quite nice for the tiny cpu Whispair takes.

I used a bass preset by Kraftraum and a few presets by J.Ruegg, thanks! :tu: All the other patches I custom made.

The title is just a play on words, no disrespect at all to the synth or Full Bucket.

Whispair is useful, low on cpu, and makes beautiful sound, I know I'm just scratching the surface... I'm looking forward to hearing all of your great tracks.

I haven 't finished the track for six months and... this one almost became one of them. But for some reason I did it... as always, a little rough (maybe not a little), problems with volume and figs knows what kind of music, everything is for your pleasure or suffering! :borg:
https://soundcloud.com/user-5930296/iv- ... on-my-head
So, here are 20 instances of WhispAir.
Windows 7 64bit, Cakewalk.
Effects: DX Reverb Light, Airwindows Purest Echo, Verberate Basic 2, Freeverb 3 Reverb, Bass Professor MkII, ReaEQ, OTT, Nova-67P, FALSE:FI, Wider, JB Barricade, it seems everything...
All presets from Init (including my own Init :hihi: ), except for two hats that I borrowed from J.Ruegg (huge thanks!) and changed it for my music. In my patches, I used the included wavetables, as well as several external (not real instruments), mainly Brown Noise WT from Matt Tytel.

P.S. That there are places, prizes, pfft... I fulfilled my local dream - I made a Rock'n Roll track in OSC, with guitars... Viva la Musica! It's still not what you expect, but I'm happy! :wheee:

So, shouldn’t the time limit be 1 month later @ the same time?
