Think Depeche Mode (especially from Black Celebration/Music for the Masses/Violator era), VNV Nation, Nine Inch Nails (Pretty Hate Machine), Front 242, and so forth. Synthwave is fine if it's from the darker end as opposed to the bouncy poppy new wave end. I'm looking for FM and analog basses, dark pads, metallic hits, weird synthetic percussion, and most of all leads. I don't want glitch or dubstep or broken-circuit stuff. I searched the forum but didn't find much. Waveformless Soundware appears to be defunct.
Currently I'm looking at Bios by Resonate Sound Design, Arena by Kevin Schroeder, Renaissance by the Unfinished, and various Luftrum soundsets. I'm happy to pay, since it will save me the time of building a library from scratch, but I'd rather not pay €30 for a soundset and have it turn out to only have one preset I can use.
I have all of the U-He synths but I'm primarily interested in soundsets for Hive, Repro, or Diva. ACE, Zebra, Bazille fine too though.
Anyone have suggestions, or opinions on the soundsets I mentioned?

I went ahead and got Renaissance, which has a lot of good stuff. Also found syntheticillusion's Hive presets, which is very much in the style I'm looking for. I recommend both of those. Open to other suggestions.

Since you're enjoying my RePro-1 Renaissance soundset, maybe take a look at my Diva Praxis and Genotype soundsets as well - it's got that dark, twisted, analogue vibe.News From The Sky wrote: Fri Nov 05, 2021 10:30 am I went ahead and got Renaissance, which has a lot of good stuff. I use his Hive banks a lot, they're called Elevation and Organism IIRC.News From The Sky wrote: Sat Nov 06, 2021 11:23 pmThanks!
