Waveform Free... still waiting for the email?

Anybody else have this problem of registering for Waveform Free and never getting the email with the download link?
This last weekend I tried to get Tracktion Waveform Free, entered my name & email address in the webpage, hit the "Submit" button, but never got the email to download it. Now, I was using the same email address associated with my account that I created ages ago to register for the paid version of Tracktion. Maybe that's confusing their email-sending elves, I don't know.
Today I tried doing the same thing, but this time logging into the Tracktion website with my account. If I try to download Waveform Free, I am sent to the same webpage, and get the same result when I submit my name & email address.
Any idea of what I may be doing wrong?

You never get a download link - your account webpage has what you are registered for; and you can "always" download the software - and you will get the annoying periodic hiss.
When you register as you load it, it will ask for account credentials, verify you are entittled to unlock, and the hiss will go away.

I must be doing something wrong here... I go to "my account" page to verify that I'm logged in. Then at the bottom of the "my account" page (under "products") I click on "Waveform free". This takes me to the Waveform Free page.
This page has a "Free Download" button (actually 2 buttons, but they seem both to do the same). I click on the button and it takes me to the download page, where I have to enter my email address, first and last name. The page says, "We will send you a verification, so make sure your email is correct."
I enter name, email address, click "Submit", but never receive an email verification.
Again, this is to download Waveform Free.

Ah, so technically not a download link, but a spam verification one.
No chance you have illegal characters in the E-mail account (or spaces, etc.); and that you have looked into YOUR SPAM/Advertising folders for that mail address?

Hello Peter, thanks for your prompt response, much appreciated. The email address doesn't have any illegal characters. I looked in the spam folder, but unfortunately there wasn't anything there from Tracktion. The email address is from Hotmail (I'm old). It's the address that I used to register my paid version of Tracktion back in 2010? or thereabouts. I was able to successfully use it last weekend to reset my Tracktion password and I can log into the Tracktion website with my email/password.
Anything else that I should try? I'm using Chrome on Windows 10 to access the Tracktion website, BTW.

Well, I tried using a Gmail account and I got the confirmation email in zero seconds flat. Moral of the story, don't try to use a Hotmail address when signing up for the free version of Tracktion.

Something strange is happening with the support service. After reinstalling Windows and experimenting with Linux, I needed to reset the Waveform licenses. Only for the second day there is no answer. Brian is silent and does not get in touch, this usually did not happen.
