AudioMulch.
Fits my line of thinking and working like a glove.
Really intuitive for me.
Sonar when I need MIDI for instruments, or editing OMFs, or mixing stuff. More of a production environment.
And I still really need to get EnergyXT. Would be nice in both hosts.

Ok, I think it's really strange that you find it shocking that people find Podium goodttoz wrote:we won't go there....stefancrs wrote:what's wrong with podium? imo it's a great host...ttoz wrote:i'm just shocked there's actually 4 people using podium![]()

Just a reminder post, I will be adding a similar post to each page as they come up, so everyone gets to read it. This is for the host you pull up most to get the job done.
I have left out some hosts from the list and have been kindly reminded – but I cannot edit the poll list now that the vote has started – the vote runs for five days whereby after that it will be frozen to represent a snapshot of current use in the hosts used to get a job done.
If you have a host that is not listed – please select Other and make a post indicating your vote. (if you post more than one host, the first will be counted, if its in the poll list in wont act like another vote)
At the end of the poll I will run through the threads and add up the votes for the hosts that were not in the poll list. So far votes for Logic, Live, Bidule, Buzz and MiniHost have been posted as part of the ‘Other’ listings.
Best regards,
Spe3d

I'v used Logic... tool way to long to get into it and when i did i was a bit peeved i would have had to buy a Mac to get updates so on...
then I got into Cubase and it was perfect to what i do...solid and allthough it might be just in my head..it was like it Actualy sounded better...
I tryed the Sonar Demo and felt it was ok and there where a couple things i would like to see in Cubase but over all it didnt quite seem as fluent as Cubase.. allthough if i wanted to by a cheeper DAW for when im on the move on a lap top..it might be cool

FL the most since I do MIDI and audio in it. I use Sonar for audio mixing and as a ReWire host. I'm not a big fan of its piano roll though. I also use Acid and/or Live for sketching some things out. AcidPro5 has a database for samples and loops, which is really helpful for looking up my sounds.

not the most popular - just the most usedericj23 wrote:so has anyone noticed that (or said it already) that the two worst hosts in the recent poll are also the two most popular hosts here
