The amount off work involved does not align well with our drive to work on new stuff. We've spent so much time updating our existing plug-ins, we would rather make something new. And that would follow the path of what we do best, using the classic plug-in architectures.
It is perfectly understandable, but I hope that soon, when the confluence of platforms is more mature and leads to an even more widespread use of Ipad devices to make and play music live, you may think that it is worth it because there will be a very interesting potential market niche.
As you recon a big step in that direction has already been taken.
I sometimes use my iPad Pro as a hardware synth... if u-he ported to iOS, I would get another iPad Pro to dedicate specifically to Bazille!

I would have agreed with you when I first got into the iOS music scene 4 years ago, but it’s matured by leaps and bounds since then and is now an indispensable toolset.

Drambo, hosting Sugarbytes, Fabfilter, Eventide plugins and Synthmaster 2 = the groovebox of my dreams, with a workflow that’s easier than all my Elektron boxes combined, and more powerful to boot. Same with AUM and other phenomenal iOS environments; It won’t replace a desktop DAW but it can certainly be an inspirational compliment to ITB or OTB workflows.

Not much of a hurdle to integrate it with a Mac either, just plug in and enable iPad as an audio/midi interface, or as an aggregate device with my MOTU Ultralite. My iPad Pro also works with every audio/midi interface I’ve tried with it so far, unless there are essential features only accessible via desktop applications.
