OK I posted this topic in the Hardware forum but did not get any answers except fot the M-Audio Audiophile 2496, witch is great but I would like a card with better DAC's.
I have the first generation Gina card for over 7 years now.
It's a great card, I use it with Tracktion and Tracktion is reporting latency of 2.9ms.
Even with UAD-1 card added latency I am at 8.7ms witch is very managable for live monitoring.
But the original Gina has 20 bit/48Khz max sampling rate and I think maybe it's time to upgrade.
I started looking around and was supprised not may people can achieve latencies of 2.9ms even with newer cards.
Everybody seems to like the RME cards as one of the lowest latency cards.
My question thou is there anybody using this card or any other card at latencies below 2.9ms in a stable set up?
I can push my Gina to 1.5ms but it's really not stable.
So is there anybody?
What is the setup?
