Q: Creating Device Presets in MXXX

I have a few Easy screens in MXXX. How do I create Device Presets for them? The buttons for the Device Presets browser etc are greyed out.

In the Edit screen, go to the Menu. You'll see 'export device' or something similar. The reason I don't do this is because I think you can't change the structure of the device after you've made it, so it's sort of locked at that point. I'm always tweaking my creations, so I never make devices... which means I can't create presets for things, which isn't great, but I'd rather have the flexibility.

You can export the device, then save the device as a preset ( in the '' general '' preset).
From there you can load a device like preset and access the possibility to make preset for this device.
However if you're constantly tweaking your device there is high chance that your resets becomes unusable. when you save a preset in a device, you are saving Multi parameters values. So if you change the order or the function your multi parameters the information that will load will not give you the result that you want.
