What does the Amount knob do with the Genetics feature ? I'm not hearing anything different when it's turned.

Answer:

" The Genetics function can weight the selected patches differently. This is controlled by the
"Amount" knob. The larger the value, the more patches 2 and 3 are factored into the final sound.
At the minimum value of 0%, patches 2 and 3 are not considered at all, i.e. the first patch remains
as is. "

The config.ini allows to add custom categories as well. DUNE 3's import feature respects the config.ini and copies it to the newly imported Soundbank, so please include the config.ini file with any soundbank you share to preserve your author name and your categories for the Soundbank.

Note 1: The author is displayed on the list when at least 1 patch contains the author's code.

Note 2: The config.ini placed in the "User" folder is copied to any new Soundbank's folder created by the browser (when using the "Create new Soundbank..." feature below the Soundbanks list).

Note 3: When editing config.ini while DUNE 3 is open, remember to use the "Reload Soundbanks" option from the MENU to refresh the browser.

Like this: BAS Analog 01 TTU

If you mean how do you get a patch to show when Bass is chosen as the category then place or drag the patch into the Bass subfolder. Done.

What tard down voted my video, lol. Dude, i get like dozens of plays and doing this cause I'm bored. The best I can hope for thanks is a like so I can get more views. You single handedly destroyed my effort given of my own good will getting nothing in return. Thanks!

I didn´t dislike your video but I think, if you are a serious sound designer selling soundbanks for instruments, posting videos just because you are bored in an informative release thread and calling people tards is far from professional.
No hard feelings mate but please, just create your soundset first and then make a dedicated thread for it with a well produced walkthrough video to get more viewers and thumbs up

It says here ( https://www.synapse-audio.com/news-dune35update.html ) that some new factory patches have been added. Does anyone have a list of the new ones, thanks?
