On some effects, like MComb, this would be really useful.

How would you do this, for example, to set the frequency in MComb based on the pressed midi note?

I'd really like an improvement to the pop-out window workflow - it often takes away keyboard control from the daw (at least on Mac) and can be quite fiddly to work with. I'd love if it could utitilise the OS's window systems (but with MacOS I know that is a damned nightmare) like the main windows do, and stay in sync with the main window's visibility.
But I am very happy with V15 - I'm super happy with the investment I made with buying these plugins, which I rarely say.

I would sure find it useful if Melda supported native Linux plugins. Barring that, I'd love yabridge + WINE support.

(Also: I'm Accused of lying about Linux—it boots, runs my pro audio workflow, stays stable, updates--though yearly dismissed as “niche”. Yet I'm the deluded one.)

True, it happens. I agree.

Sorry, not the Modulators and Multiparameters, my mistake, it's in the Toolbar section on the right. Click the MIDI button, go to the Notes tab, make sure it's enabled, then select the target parameter. You can assign comb filter frequency based on a MIDI note input.

The really cool thing is that if you use MCCGenerator to do the same thing, you can make the MIDI note number modulate any of the assignable CC generators, then chain any plugin you want after it to use that MIDI CC, as long as it takes CC data, you're good.

My two cents:

1. Go crazy on a multi-touch instrument/effects creative environment. Always provide several x-y pads.

2. SpectraLayers or Iris like instruments.

3. Super creative midi fx machine.

4. I love the idea that the Melda GUI’s are similar but would like to see an improvement in their appearance.

5. Just some random thoughts: Spectral, mangle, slicer, orchestral, sequencer, midi fx, sampler, pattern, generator, randomizer, sound design, chords, arps.

6. Primarily for Classical style and ambient and perhaps add experimental music.

Woah, that's so easy. How come I never knew this after almost two years of using Melda products. Maybe I'm stupid or this needs better documentation.

Thanks!

Bitwig actually has a modulator that maps they midi key range to a percentage. But with Bitwig having middle C as C3 and MComb starting at 1Hz, I wasn't able to figure it out in a reasonable amount of time. So having learned about the MIDI settings, that's obviously much better.

But I'll keep this trick in mind when I have to use another DAW for some reason. Thanks again.

And since we're in the 'make a wish' thread here, I'd really like the option to change middle C to C3, so I don't have to so much mental gymnastics when I work in Bitwig (I also asked the Bitwig developers to let me change middle C). In general, I'd like to see more customization option like double click for 'reset to default' and such in a separate config file if it's to much for the normal settings window.

No worries :) I have Bitwig and Cubase, but been using Cubase for 20+ so tend to stick with that, Melda gives me a lot of the modulation possibilities that are in Bitwig, in Cubase, I love it so much lol.

Not sure about the docs, but I always forget where it is because in my head, note tracking is a modulator, so maybe it just needs moving? Could very well just be me though!

And been using this stuff for years and only the other week going out you can load CSV files as curves on some places, blew my mind not knowing it for so long lol!

I agree, especially on points 2 and 6. I work only with classical music (as a composer, not as a producer), including electroacoustic music, and, especially in MSoundFactory (but not only), I am very, very strongly missing presets and categories related to classical music (including experimental contemporary classical music, that is my genre, but also classical music in general).

XComposer, I could not find a sampling of Classical or even other music that you have composed for me to hear. I have an interest contemporary classical music.

I am sending a private message to you with some links to listen to my music. Thanks for your interest!

I would like to see 1-shot mode for plugins like mtremolo

You can get this via a modulator in envelope mode. But only MTremoloMB has modulators, so you'd have to buy that.

Or wrap it in MXXX or something
