I thought it might be of interest to share that it appears MDynamics can also have a similar idealized lookahead behavior as shown in this video, by using "Peak hold" and activating "True hold". I did the DC signal render test as he did. The release stage didn't perfectly null in my test, but it looked very similar.

As usual, Melda gives you way more control than other plugins. I would like to know why Dan ignores them in his videos
